SOLD OUT Bugs and Brews – The Monarch Butterfly: Population Trends, Conservation & Your Backyard

September 25, 2024 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us on Wednesday, September 25th, to learn all about the poster child for insect conservation: the Monarch butterfly. Our speaker will be our very own founding Board member and Development Director, Glenn Marangelo. Aside from a few mandatory bug jokes, Glenn will discuss the Monarch lifecycle, their infamous migration, current population trends, and conservation concerns for one of North America’s best-known butterfly species.

When: Wednesday, September 25th. Doors open at 6:30 PM, speaker at 7:15 PM.

Where: Missoula Butterfly House and Insectarium, 1075 South Ave W., Missoula, MT 59801

Be sure to get there when the doors open to give yourself ample time to explore the museum and butterfly house before the lecture. Grab a beer, peruse the exhibits, and maybe hold a bug or two at our encounter area while you’re at it.

Admission is $14 for non-members / $10 for members, which includes two complimentary beverages. Must be 21 or over for alcohol.

As always, a big THANK YOU to our friends at Draught Works for donating the beer and hard seltzer for this unforgettable lecture series!
